All of the standard PROSYSTEMŽ arc welding cells are also available for resistance welding. Progressive will mount a transgun onto a large 6-axis robot (130 kg to 200 kg payload) to weld your part. Where a standard cell just won't do, we will provide a custom workcell. The transgun can be the traditional pneumatic type or a servo gun controlled as an additional robot motion axis. The servo gun gives extremely fine control over the weld process and improves cycle time by allowing coordinated motion between the gun and the robot during air-cuts.
