Progressive Systems Case Packing Systems are an excellent choice for packing your PET containers for shipment to the filling operation. We are experienced with the complexity of handling the very light, empty PET containers. Our case packing solutions solve the difficulties related to picking and packing the newer, more complex container shapes, including ovals, flasks and contoured packages. Upside-down containers are no problem. We can pack the containers into the case neck-up or neck-down with no cycle-time penalty. The flexibility of robot and the speed of our in-line container flipper are a perfect match.

The case is controlled at the pack point. Flaps are captured and internal dividers are positively located to ensure reliable operation. Divider Control is available for a variety of configurations, including cell dividers, "H" dividers and "Z" dividers. A Divider Conditioner is available for mounting upstream of the pack point to roughly locate dividers prior to arrival at the pack point. This device is used when there is a great deal of variation in the as-inserted divider position.

The robotic case packer is capable of producing a variety of pack patterns. The patterns are driven by your product types & case configurations. A color touch screen is provided with most packing systems. The touch screen allows the operator to select between pre-programmed products and patterns. A visual representation of the pattern is displayed.

Let us put a tool changer on the robot and changeover will be lighting-fast. When a new product type is selected, the robot automatically drops off gripper and picks up another. It is ready to handle the new product type.
